LA Laker - Utah, LAL -11.5 @ 1.962, 1 Unit
LA Laker - Utah, Over 211.5 @ 1.952, 2 Units
Cleveland - Detroit, CLE -11 @ 1.962, 2 Units
Cleveland - Detroit, Over 177.5 @ 2.00, 2 Units
We are happy to have had a very solid start to the playoffs. We have to admit, though, that we were wrong about Cleveland. They have not forgotten their defense and they are just too strong for mediocre Detroit. Cleveland will be looking to settle this in four games and preserve energy for later series. If they succeed this will be their last home game in this series and they will do their best to leave spectators excited and hungry for more.

Boston - Chicago, BOS -8 @ 1.96, 2 Units
San Antonio - Dallas, SA -5 @ 1.92, 1 Unit
Boston came out somewhat unprepared and never found momentum in the first game. We insist, however, that they are the far superior team, which we believe they will want to prove.

Atlanta - Miami, Atlanta - 5 @ 1.943, 2 Units
Atlanta has been an improving team over the last few years and last year they took Boston to 7 games in round 1 of the playoffs. The last two years Atlanta have covered 3 of 4 at home to Miami (as 2, 8 and 9 point favorites), only failing in the last game of the season, this year. However, that last game was of no significance and the result should be taken lightly.
How the line has been adjusted to only -5 is beyond my comprehension, but Atlanta is an “under the radar” type of team that just plays great team play without too much fuzz. Miami is somewhat banged up while all Atlanta starters are fresh to go.

Tottenham - Newcastle, Tott -0.5/1 @ 1.92, 1 Unit
Valencia - Sevilla, Over 2.5 @ 1.787, 2 Units
Since the change of manager Tottenham has been producing results resembling a top six team. For this game Spurs are healthier than they have been for a long time. Newcastle have struggled all season long and no change of manager seem to do them any good. Newcastle’s material is too good to be in the relegation battle, but they have been extremely unfortunate with injuries this year and so is the case for this game as well. Tottemham has an outstanding record against bottom six teams. Newcastle will be fighting for their survival in the league of course, so we keep it at a single unit.
For the last two seasons Valencia have played every single home game, against top 6 opposition, over 2,5 goals. Sevilla away games against stronger opposition also tends to produce plenty goals. The corresponding fixture last year ended 1-2 and their cup encounter at Valencia this year was a 3-2 affair. Both teams are having selection troubles in defense for this game.

Cleveland - Detroit, Detroit +12 @ 2.00, 2 units
We already wrote about this game and although Cleveland has demolished most opposition at home this season we think they will be caught on their heels by the fight that Detroit are able to put up.
Detroit are going "all-in" to prove their right to be in the playoffs, despite their mediocre record. Cleveland will surely get the win, but we are fairly confident about Detroits chances to cover the large spread.

Boston - Chicago, Over 196.5 @ 1.952, 2 units
Boston - Chicago, Boston -8.5 @ 1.96, 1 unit
Chicago is all offence. They made it to the playoffs by outscoring the opposition, but against stronger opponents they have clearly struggled because they are only a force on one half of the court. Boston was the best home court team of the league, at least the first 3-4 month of the season. They have somewhat struggled with Garnett out, but that has been as much because of experiments as due to the injury. Boston have hosted Chicago twice this season and outscored the visitors by 16 and 18 points.
Boston want to come out strong and leave no doubt of their true worth after a questionable finish to the regular season. The line offered is too generous because of Garnett’s absence, but Chicago will be without Luol Deng, who might be a much lesser star, but not of much less importance to Chicago than Garnett is for Boston. With Deng absent, this should become a scoring contest and Boston should be able to set things straight from the beginning of this series.

Cleveland - Detroit, Over 175 @ 2,05, 2 units
Cleveland is, by many, considered the best defense in NBA. They will be hosting Detroit who has one of the worst offenses in the league. These two teams already matched-up twice in Cleveland this season, with Cleveland securing two comfortable wins in very low-scoring games. And we are suggesting the Over?
YES! The line that has been put out for this game is 4,5 points lower than the line from their first meeting.
Cleveland eased up on defense the last few games. It is very likely they focused on improving their offense in games that were not that important. For this game Cleveland are not going to have great respect for Detroit who hasn’t even won half their regular season games. Cleveland will still be in offensive focus mode. Detroit for their part know they cannot hold Cleveland from scoring and they will need to take advantage of Clevelands soft defense.
This whole setup could easily be turned around for the next game of this series - especially if we are right today. So there is no waiting around and seeing how the first game will play out. That is what is so fun about the playoffs… focus, momentum, will, ect…. everything change from game to game.
We are huge favorites to have another suggestion for tonights games, later today. We are just waiting for the line to become even better…
